Life is too short to do the same thing all the time. Recently, I embarked on a series of paintings called Whimsy Girls. It kind of happened by accident, but I'm running with it and hope to create many of these girls. Some have no arms and no faces, much to the confusion of my son and husband. Think Venus de Milo and every woman. I wanted my audience to imagine themselves in these creations. I also wanted something fun, whimsical and maybe a bit odd. Here are some of the images.
